Corporate Aircraft

We represent foreign and domestic clients in all aspects of purchasing, leasing, selling, and financing corporate aircraft. Our targeted clients include domestic and foreign corporations and operators, leasing companies and individuals who own and operate their own aircraft.

In addition to negotiating purchase agreements for new corporate aircraft, we assist the buyer or seller of used corporate aircraft.  In addition to the basic contractual issues involved in buying or selling a corporate aircraft, we place special emphasis on warranty, indemnification and tax issues (calling on accountants or other tax experts where required) frequently overlooked in corporate aircraft transactions.  We assist the broker/dealer negotiating for the purchase or sale and in regard to pre-buy inspections and negotiating the outcome of those inspections.  We coordinate at closing with the financial institutions involved in the transactions and with Transport Canada Registry.  Our management of closing can result in lower transaction costs to both buyer and seller when compared to the costs of utilizing an escrow agent for closing without a carefully thought-out purchase or sale agreement.
